Clearing fog and dry sunny conditions.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For Today- 9/18: The drier southern flow is slowly lifting into our area with the combination of the warmer and colder influences causing the fog early. Look for this to burn out of the valleys pretty quickly with a dry sunny day on tap. Expect some wind as the pattern shifts but there won’t be much to challenge clear sunny conditions.

Temperatures: Overnight lows dropped to 37 for Gunnison this morning and 33 for Crested Butte. Highs will rebound under sunny skies hitting 65 for CB and 71 for Gunni by the afternoon. Lows tonight will threaten to drop below the freezing mark for all elevations.

Outlook: Little has changed with outlook for the week as high pressure reestablishes across the southwest and any weather is shunted to the north. Look for some wind Tuesday afternoon but this looks to be a classic week of beautiful fall weather. Enjoy it because it looks like we are headed for a wintry turn into next weekend.
