A little snow up high.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For Today- 11/20: We are right at the top end of the southern high pressure ridge with the base of the northern wave breaking across the north. Favorable dynamics just don’t exist in this mix and we will see snow showers up high and cloud cover thick enough to stifle any real rebound in temperatures. Expect more spotty sun in the mix for Gunnison but a pretty consistently gray Monday all around.

Temperatures: Lows dropped quickly ahead of the cloud cover and then stalled at 4 for CB and 8 for Gunni. Highs will slowly warm finally reaching 34 for CB and 36 for Gunni. Lows tonight will be in the teens with continued clouds.

Outlook: This arc driving the flow to the north is now set to hold until another arctic wave drops in and flattens the ridge into the weekend. This will be our next big change in the pattern with a milder southwestern high set to dominate the week. Temperatures will rebound a little everyday until the weekend. It’s not the beautiful conditions everyone wants but enjoy it while it lasts.
