TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 5/24/13 For Today: We are looking at another clear and sunny day as this western high pressure becomes fully settled. We will see the same windy conditions building through the afternoon but look for less cloud cover as the available moisture continues to decrease and we lose convective fuel. Temperatures: Overnight lows dropped under the clear skies to 29 for Crested Butte and 34 for Gunnison. Highs will climb another degree or two with CB reaching 72 and 78 for Gunny. Look for lows holding steady right around 30 again tonight. Outlook: The western weather pattern will hold under this high pressure ridge with clear skies and mild above normal temperatures for the holiday weekend. Expect standard terrain driven afternoon winds and cool nights but we are looking at perfect weather through Monday.
